Where to buy Carrageenan

Carrageenan is NOT seaweed. It is a thickening agent extracted from various forms of red seaweed.Lots of foods can contain some pretty weird-sounding stuff. That's because processed foods have some amazing things they have to do. For example, a cookie might get made in Texas, trucked across the country in the middle of the summer, sit in a warehouse for a couple of weeks before it is sold and then ride home in the trunk of your car.
One of the things I read about it is that it can actually cause cancer. I'm sure that source wasn't reliable though. I'm drinking an ensure right now and I saw that carrageenan is in it, too. Funny enough, it's in doritos, which I used to gorge myself on, but no longer eat.Tom's is a good company, but I would question other more corporate sources of goods, such as those made by Johnson & Johnson or Monsanto since their history is to adulterate chemicals to the point of being toxic - like those chips you used to eat!
Carrageenan is a thickening agent derived from algae or seaweed or something as a food additives. Like anything, it will probably kill you if you eat too much of it. Probably takes a few pounds at the same time. That no flying saucers or little green men are hidden in secret bases. That every substance that isn't 100% natural isn't inherently bad for you.
Almond milk that uses carrageenan as a thickening agent.  It has been shown to be harmful to the stomach and intestines, and some forms can cause cancer.  Anyone know anything about this, and also which brands don't use it?  All the ones in my fridge have it.

Other thickeners: Xanthan Gum       Konjac Gum       Agar Agar
